Afternoon snack

The transition from naptime to afternoon snack is just as important as the snack time itself. To ease this transition, Karen motivates the children to eat with her, by giving them just a hint about what food might be served. Then, Karen supports the children as they each find their chair and choose their spot. Finally, the snack is served: cookies on a big communal plate and water in "big-kid" cups.
