Walking in someone else's shoes

Looking at a situation from someone else's perspective is challenging for toddlers, as they are still in the egocentric stage of their cognitive, emotional and social development. Small group interactions provide ample opportunity to practise this important skill, with the help of a patient and understanding educator.
